The Year of the Eucharist is an initiative of the Diocese of Springfield to inspire and cultivate a deeper understanding and practice of the real presence of the Eucharist.
The Year of the Eucharist will run from
November 21, 2021 to October 7, 2022.
In a recent
study, it was found that only 30% of Catholics believe in the
Real Presence of Jesus. We’re in a crisis mode. They’re
missing not just the reality of Jesus in their lives, but
something transformative, powerful, and beautiful. This Year
of the Eucharist is an opportunity for revival.
